An arrest has been made in relation to the mysterious Hot Lotto case that began in December 2010. Authorities claim that an Iowa-based lottery employee, Eddie Raymond Tipton, was illegally purchasing lottery tickets. Two counts of fraud have been brought against Tipton, who was arrested and charged on Thursday. After buying Hot Lotto tickets on December 23rd, 2010, he happened to win the $14.3 million jackpot offered in the drawing held on December 29 of that same year.Read More

The CEO of the Wyoming Lottery has announced plans to introduce an in-state draw game for residents. Over $6.5 million in ticket sales has been raised since the Lottery opened for business in the Cowboy State on August 24th last year. Until now, players could only purchase tickets for Mega Millions and Powerball; state-level lottery games were unavailable. However, CEO Jon Clontz is set to unveil additional Wyoming Lottery games this year, with more details being made available on Friday.Read More
