Irish Lotto Jackpot Estimated at €5 million
The Irish lottery jackpot is estimated at €5 million for Saturday’s draw after players failed to match the jackpot winning combination in the mid-week game which meant another rollover for the top level prize. The Irish lottery has rolled for the past six draws after none of the ticket holder’s chosen numbers have been drawn in the mid-week and weekend Irish lottery.
The winning numbers drawn in the Irish lottery for Wednesday 30th May 2012 were (12)(15)(17)(30)(33)(45) with the bonus ball (22). Not only were there no jackpot winners in Wednesday’s Irish lotto but ticket holders also failed to match five of the main numbers plus the bonus ball which meant there were no winners for the top two tier prizes. The first winning prize tier won in Wednesday’s Irish lottery draw was €1,962 which was claimed individually by 29 ticket holders who matched five of the main numbers. The last time the Irish lottery jackpot was won was on the 9th May 2012 when one lucky ticket holder scooped the €2 million jackpot after matching all of the six numbers drawn. Although the Irish lottery jackpot currently stands higher than the average it is still a way off the highest ever Irish lottery jackpot won which was €18.9 million on June 28th 2008 which was won by sixteen co-workers from Carlow.
Players who have not yet bought their tickets for Saturday’s Irish lottery may be interested to know that the most overdue Irish lottery numbers are; (37)(10)(16)(23)(25)(26).
