California Daily 3 Lottery Results
This lottery game is played in a similar fashion to the Daily 4, except one less number is chosen – hence its title, the Daily 3. Not only are its prizes calculated based on the amount that is wagered on each draw, but is also dependent on the number of winners each having a share of the winnings.
The Daily 3 lottery draws take place twice a day, at approximately 13:30 PST and 19:00 PST. For a chance of winning the jackpot prize, players must match 3 numbers between 0 to 9; and choose the game style options of straight, box, or straight/box. If a player's 3 winning numbers are matched in the exact order drawn, then the winner will receive the straight prize. Match 3 numbers in any order, and the player will automatically win the box prize. For those who choose the straight/box game style, then the prize is halved – so if the numbers chosen appear in the exact order drawn, then the winner will receive half the Straight prize and half the Box prize. However, if the numbers match but are drawn in an order different to that on the ticket, then the player will only win the Box prize amount.
