Despite the name the Health Lottery is not associated with the UK Health Service and although it is commonly misnamed the National Health Lottery none of the charitable donations from the lottery go towards the NHS. Money raised from the Health Lottery instead goes towards charities and organisations involved with promoting healthy lifestyles and fitness.
Health Lottery Tickets
Health Lottery Tickets cost £1 and give the player entry to a single draw that takles place each Saturday. The Health Lottery Draw is broadcast on ITV1 and Channel 5 in the UK at approximately 9:40pm during the commercial break.
Each Health Lottery Ticket has a unique reference number printed on it. If there are no Jackpot winners who managed to match all 5 winning numbers then a ticket is chosen at random to win the £100,000 jackpot and it's ticket reference number is displayed on the Health Lottery Website so it's important to make sure you keep your ticket until the winners are announced (usually within an hour of the draw taking place).
Health Lottery Tickets also give each player something called a Magic Monday bonus which is a discount code or other promotion which is available on the Monday directly after the draw that you were entered for. You can find details of the Magic Monday offer below.
