The lucky ticket matched all six numbers drawn on May 21: white balls 6, 9, 17, 18 and 48, and the gold Mega Ball 8. The Megaplier was 3X.

The ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven at 2760 Trenton Road in Levittown, Bucks County. The retailer will receive a $100,000 bonus.

The winner will have a choice between receiving the full advertised jackpot gradually as a yearly annuity, or taking the current prize pool as a lump sum cash option of $348.6 million.

Last night's win was the largest Mega Millions jackpot ever hit in Pennsylvania and the third since the state began offering the game in 2010. The top prize was last collected by a Pittsburgh player who won $149 million on May 20, 2014, and a Virginia truck driver passing through PA hit a $153 million jackpot on July 21, 2015.

This is the third time someone has taken home the Mega Millions top prize in 2021, following the spectacular $1.050 billion won by a Michigan lottery club on January 22, and $96 million won by a New York couple on February 16.

In addition to the jackpot, there were 1,702,748 winners nationwide last night, including 53 players who matched four white balls and the Mega Ball to collect the $10,000 third prize. Ten of those tickets included the Megaplier add-on and are worth $30,000 each.

Since the jackpot last went off on February 16, there have been over 19.5 million winning tickets, with 31 players matching all five white balls to score $1 million or above with the Match 5 second-tier prize.

The next opportunity to win big on Mega Millions is Tuesday, May 25, with the jackpot back to its current starting level of $20 million ($13.5 million cash).

There's also the chance to take home the $218 million Powerball jackpot ($149 million cash) tonight, May 22.

Tickets for both games are available now.
