EuroMillions winners buy a new home

Monday March 1st 2010

Nigel Page and Justine Laycock became Britain’s biggest lottery winners when they scooped £56 million on the EuroMillions. At a press conference shortly after claiming their lottery win the couple were obviously still somewhat stunned by their fantastic windfall and had made no firm plans on how they intended to spend such a huge amount of money apart from helping those people close to them to live a more comfortable life. However, it stands to reason that it was only a matter of time before the EuroMillions winners buy a new home considering the size of their lottery win.

We can reveal today that the record breaking lottery winners have now purchased a new £4 million ecohome in the West Country. It seems that this purchase has also triggered the lottery winners to help one of those people close to them by handing over the keys to their former £400k home and their Honda Civic car, to their cleaner, Denise Kelso. Although the home still remains in Nigel and Justine’s ownership, the gesture enables their cleaner to move out of her tiny rented flat which she shares with her husband and live a more comfortable life. Denise will  now give up her other cleaning jobs to work solely for the EuroMillions winners in looking after their new home.

The lottery winners fabulous new home has six bedrooms has a 25 seat cinema,  indoor pool, sauna and steam room and an eight seat hot tub.

Since this record breaking win, the EuroMillions has continued to roll over again and now stands at €44 million for the next draw which takes place on Friday 5th March.
