Idaho Lottery launches Winner Takes All raffle

Tuesday April 19th 2011

Raffles have always been popular in the lottery world, but often players are left disappointed as usually there are only a limited number of tickets available for each one, meaning that some players often miss out. The news that the Idaho Lottery launches the Winner Takes All raffle will be very appealing to players who like these kinds of raffles, mainly because there is no limit to the amount of tickets to be sold on this game.

Tickets for the Winner Takes All raffle from the Idaho Lottery went on sale early on Friday Morning and sales will continue until 9pm on 8th June 2011. However, it is not just the unlimited ticket sales that make this lottery raffle so much different to previous raffles. Previously there would be several jackpot winners as well as smaller prize tiers and the amounts are usually predetermined when tickets go on sale. With this latest raffle from the Idaho Lottery it is simply what it says. Winner Takes All. One winner, one jackpot but because the ticket sales are unlimited the jackpot will not be determined until ticket sales have closed.

The Idaho Lottery will be running this game as a 50/50 raffle, meaning that they split the total winnings in half with 50% going to the lottery raffle winner. How popular this lottery raffle will be in comparison to others, remains to be seen, but the size on the jackpot will play a big part and is entirely dependent on the players.

You will not be able to buy lottery tickets for this raffle in any other state, but you do not have to be resident in Idaho to be able to play and be eligible to win.
