The winning numbers for the most recent Mega Millions draw were 10, 13, 40, 42, 46, and the Mega Ball was 1. While nobody was able to match the full line, there were still close to 1 million winners throughout the 47 jurisdictions where Mega Millions is played, with some nifty prizes being awarded to the corresponding ticket-holders.
The total non-jackpot prize pool amounted to over $2.79 million. The Arizona ticket-holder that qualified for the second-tier prize won $5 million due to the 5x multiplier, and two tickets with the 3x multiplier in New York and Iowa each won $3 million. There were many other prizes in lower tiers. Money that lottery fans didn’t have the day before.
