Mega Millions jackpot rolls onWednesday March 16th 2011
Lottery players around the world are sure to have noticed that the Mega Millions jackpot has now gone past the $200million mark. No one matched all five main numbers along with the Mega Ball during last night’s draw, which means that the game’s jackpot has rolled over for the 12th time.
If one player were to scoop the lot in this coming Friday’s draw they would go home with an estimated $210million, or $128.3million if they choose the cash option.
The main numbers for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions game were 10, 11, 12, 28 and 43. The Mega Ball was 45. A total of 18 winners across 13 states each bagged a runner-up prize of $250,000 for matching the main numbers.
The jackpot is continuing to climb and while it is some way off matching the $380million top prize that was split between two players back in January, the game is sure to get a fair amount of attention from people wanting to play the lottery online or at their local store.
