Oz Lotto winner remains elusive

Friday April 2nd 2010

This year has seen lottery games all over the world produce some fantastic jackpots with barely a third of the year passed. The global recession seems to have created a lottery frenzy, which could be why we are seeing so many rollover jackpots up for grabs.  The Australian Lottery draw on Tuesday saw a jackpot of $30 million was finally won after rolling over several times, but today the Oz Lotto winner remains elusive and NSW Lotteries are appealing for the winner to come forward to claim their staggering jackpot prize.

There is little known about the Oz Lotto winner at the moment apart from the fact that the winning ticket was purchased from a news agency in the Sydney area. If the ticket holder had used a NSW Lotteries Players Clubcard to buy lottery tickets, then it would have been an easy task to track this lottery winner down.

lottery organisers are calling on anyone who purchased tickets for the Oz Lotto draw on Tuesday to check their tickets. The winning numbers were 40, 39, 28, 29, 25, 2 and 35, the supplementaries were 31 and 14.

Although not a huge amount of time has passed for the Oz Lotto winner to come forward, experience says that wins of this amount are usually checked by the following morning and it is highly possible that this lottery winner does not even realise they are sitting on a $30 million fortune.

The exact location of the lottery ticket purchase will not be revealed until the winner has come forward, but those who hold lottery tickets for this draw, either in Sydney or surrounding area could be the potential winner.
