Powerball Jackpot Estimated at $94 MillionWednesday April 11th 2012
It hasn’t be long since the Mega Millions jackpot reached a very impressive $656 million (the largest jackpot ever in this lottery) and it would now seem that another American multi-state lottery the Powerball could be heading the same way as the Powerball jackpot is now estimated at $94 million. This current Powerball jackpot has been rolling since the middle of March, so the question is will this jackpot carry on rolling over or will any ticket holders match the five numbers and Powerball drawn tonight to become the first Powerball jackpot winners for April 2012?
The last time the Powerball jackpot was won was on the 21st March when one winning ticket which was purchased in New Jersey matched the numbers drawn to win the jackpot was worth $70 million. Since then the Powerball jackpot has been rolling so it will be interesting to see if that is again the case tonight, or if in fact a ticket holder can win the jackpot.
The Powerball rules changed on the 15th January and since then there have been 24 draws and the numbers which have been in the Powerball results more than other numbers are 1, 11, 17, 45 and 5. However there are numbers which are yet to be in the results since the rules changed and these are 25, 27, 31, 40 and 48.
Whether any of these numbers will be drawn in the Powerball results tonight remains to be seen but make sure you have your tickets ready if you fancy winning the jackpot and becoming the first Powerball jackpot winner for April 2012.
