Tonight’s Halloween Powerball Jackpot Estimated at $110 Million

Wednesday October 31st 2012

Tonight’s Powerball jackpot is estimated at a massive seven times rollover of $110 million after none of the ticket holders managed to match the Powerball numbers drawn in Saturday’s draw. Although there were no jackpot winners in Saturday’s Powerball there was one ticket holder who purchased their winning ticket in Wisconsin and was one number off winning the jackpot so got to take home a consolation prize of $1 million. The last time we saw a Powerball jackpot winner was October 3rd 2012 when an anonymous winner from Delaware scooped the $50 million top prize but chose not to go public with their life changing win.

Tonight’s Powerball draw will be the last in October before we step into November so it’ll be interesting to see if the Powerball will produce a second top prize winner in October. If a lucky ticket holder does manage to match the numbers drawn in tonight’s Powerball then October will become the first month since June 2012 to produce more than one top prize Powerball winner.

However, if none of the ticket holders’ match tonight’s chosen numbers then we will see the Powerball jackpot roll into November and approach the $150 million mark. So is someone in for a special Halloween treat in tonight’s Powerball? If you’re still yet to get your Powerball ticket you may be interested to know that the most common Powerball numbers are 26, 41, 35, 42, 16 and 20.
