Unclaimed National Lottery prize

Friday November 6th 2009

The latest news that an unclaimed National Lottery prize of £53,926 is still outstanding in the Crewe area may come as a surprise to most of you, but in fact this is a fairly common occurrence. You would think that people who participate in the National Lottery do so because they want to win a large amount of money.

However, this theory is somewhat discredited with the amount of prizes that are left unclaimed. We are not just talking about a few pounds here, time after time we see appeals for lottery ticket holders to come forward to claim prizes which are worth tens of thousands of pounds and occasionally even more.

This current appeal for the UK National Lottery winner to come forward was for the lotto draw which took place on Saturday 17th October. The lottery ticket holder matched five numbers along with the bonus ball. The winning numbers for this lotto draw were, 11, 25, 27, 32, 37 and 34. The bonus ball was 3. The lucky ticket holder has until 5.30pm on 15th April in which to come forward to claim the lottery prize, otherwise the money will go to the National Lottery Good Causes.

Everyone who bought a lottery ticket in the Crewe area for that particular draw is being urged to dig out their tickets and re-check them. Any one of you could be sitting on a National Lottery fortune. We would also remind people that when they buy lottery tickets, to make sure that they keep them safe. Time and time again lottery prizes remain unclaimed due to lost and mislaid tickets.
