The lucky ticket matched all five main numbers, 10, 33, 41, 52, 54, and the red Powerball 18 in the June 10 draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Synergy Coop Exit 45, 2100 County Rd. B in Menomonie. The retailer will be paid a $100,000 bonus.

"We can't wait to meet WINsconsin's newest jackpot winner," said Wisconsin Lottery Director Cindy Polzin. "We all know Wisconsin is a lucky place and I'm overjoyed the winning Powerball ticket was sold in our state. I want to give a huge congratulations to Synergy Coop for selling the big winning ticket!"

This is the 18th Powerball jackpot won in the Dairy State since sales began in 1992. Wisconsin is currently tied for fourth place as the state with the most wins.

The last Powerball top prize hit in Wisconsin was $768 million won by Manuel Franco on March 27, 2019. It was the third-highest jackpot in U.S. lottery history. Franco chose the cash lump sum of $477 million and after taxes, his payout was just over $326 million.

The Powerball jackpot has now reset to its current default starting level of $20 million for the next draw on Saturday, June 13.

More Powerball wins

There were a total of 377,565 winners last night at all prize levels including the jackpot.

Although there were no Match 5 second place winners, six players matched four main numbers plus the Powerball and won $50,000 each on the third prize level.

Two more players also won Match 4 plus Powerball and multiplied their winnings after adding the Power Play option to the ticket for an extra $1. The Power Play number drawn on Wednesday was 5X, so the lucky tickets are now worth five times as much - $250,000 each.

Over 600 people will take home $100 after they matched four main numbers, or three main numbers plus the Powerball. Almost 200 players did the same with Power Play, and their tickets are worth $500 each.

Have you won a Powerball prize recently? Don't risk your ticket expiring - check your numbers now and see if you're due a payout.

An exciting week for jackpots

The past seven days have been a busy time for the biggest lottery jackpots.

Wednesday was the second night in a row someone became an overnight multi-millionaire, after a player in Arizona hit the $410 million Mega Millions top prize on Tuesday.

It was the first-ever Mega Millions jackpot win in the state, and the game's 11th-largest ever prize.

The Powerball jackpot was last won just a week ago by a single ticket in West Virginia that's worth $136.4 million before taxes. The lucky winner has not come forward to claim their prize yet.

Wisconsin adds extra draws

In more news from the Dairy State, the Wisconsin Lottery will add a second daily draw for the Pick 3, Pick 4 and All or Nothing games beginning Sunday, June 14.

Players will have the option to enter these lotto games twice every day. Aside from the new draw, nothing else about the games will change - how to play, rules and prizes will all remain the same.

"The Wisconsin Lottery is thrilled to offer our players another chance to play," says Wisconsin Lottery Director Cindy Polzin. "Players and retailers have been asking for additional daily draws that are offered by other lotteries throughout the country. We think our loyal Pick 3, Pick 4, and All or Nothing players will enjoy another opportunity to play the same great games with the same great prizes."

From June 14, the three games will have a Midday draw at 1:30 pm CT and an Evening draw at 9:00 pm CT seven days a week. Players can enter one or both draws every day.

Currently, the Pick 3 and Pick 4 draw time is 6:15 pm. Starting on Sunday, that will change to 9:00 pm.

New playslips are also being issued for these games and the old playslips will not be valid after Saturday, June 13.

Players may enter up to 14 draws (seven days) in advance if choosing both Midday and Evening draws, or up to seven draws (seven days) in advance if choosing only one draw time.
