The last time there was a top prize winner in this American state lottery game was on the 21st December 2011 when one winning ticket, which was purchased in Lemon Grove, won $17 million. In order to win the jackpot players must match all five of the numbers drawn along with the Mega Ball, however predicting the numbers that will be drawn in tonight’s lottery game is impossible, however we can look at the previous draw history to see which numbers are more popular than others.

Some of the numbers in the California Lottery that tend to get select more regularly than others include:

  • 6, 15, 13, 30 and 20.

All of these numbers have been in the results on average 150 times each, however opposing to that there are numbers that do not get drawn every often and these are:

  • 37, 40, 8, 14 and 28.

The California Lottery results will be available to view online shortly after the draw takes place this evening, so have your tickets ready if you like the sound of winning $10 million.
