Missouri Lottery Launches New MO Millions Draw Game
Tuesday October 21st 2025Just days after the state’s long-running Lotto game came to an end, the Missouri Lottery has launched a new draw to bring fresh excitement to fans. It is called MO Millions and offers lots of fun features. The first draw will be held on Wednesday, October 22.
How MO Millions Works
MO Millions requires you to choose six numbers from 1 to 42. Match all of them and you’ll win or share the jackpot, which starts at $1 million and grows with each draw until it is won.
There are seven other prize categories apart from the jackpot. Half of these include matching the ‘Bulls-Eye’ number, which is selected at random from the six winning numbers. If you get this Bulls-Eye number, it increases the value of your payout.
Draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday night, with tickets costing $2 per play. You can also add Double Play for an extra $1, giving your numbers another chance to win in a separate draw which takes place immediately afterwards.
There’s also an EZ Match option for an additional $1. This gives you the opportunity to win instant prizes of up to $500 without having to wait for a draw to take place.
MO Millions vs Lotto
The Missouri Lotto game ended with its final draw on October 18, ahead of the launch of MO Millions. The starting jackpot of $1 million is the same for both games, but there are different odds.
The tougher odds of winning the top MO Millions prize should lead to bigger jackpots, while there are also better overall odds of landing a payout in the new game. MO Millions has a higher ticket price, but it offers more ways to win with the Bulls-Eye feature, plus the Double Play option for just $1 more.
Missouri Lottery players can also enjoy a range of other in-state games, including Pick 3, Pick 4, Show Me Cash, Cash Pop and Keno. The multi-state Powerball, Mega Millions and Cash4Life are also available, while Millionaire for Life is expected to launch across much of the U.S. in March 2026.
Keep up with the latest Missouri Lottery numbers throughout the week, and pick up a ticket for the new game if you’re in the Show Me State to potentially become the first MO Millions winner.
