Bride to be wins on Missouri Lottery

Monday July 19th 2010

A lottery gift from your husband to be may not sound like the most innovative of gifts to receive, but 30 year old Tracie Rogers won’t be complaining today as the bride to be wins on a Missouri Lottery ticket and bags a prize to the tune of $250,000. The winning lottery ticket was a $250,000 Payout scratch off ticket and was purchased from QuikTrip at 14800 Manchester Road, St Louis. These scratch off tickets from the Missouri Lottery cost $10 each and were only launched on 12th June 2010.

After scooping the top prize on this Missouri Lottery game, it is understandable that Tracie thought that the lottery ticket was probably a fake and the reality of the lottery win only dawned on her once she has taken the lotto ticket back to the store from where it had been purchased for the staff to confirm that it was in fact real.

The couple got engaged back in 2007 and have not yet set a date for their wedding as they didn’t feel it would be right to spend money on a wedding when they are both unemployed. Tracie herself is unemployed and her husband to be lost his job last year but this Missouri lottery win will now enable them to move on with this but not before paying off the mortgage they currently have on their home. Once the burden of the mortgage has been lifted, the couple will perhaps look at using what is left of their win from the Missouri Lottery to re-plan their wedding.
