Double up rollover for UK National Lottery

Friday October 22nd 2010

We have already said that there has been a lot of excitement for UK lottery players and this looks set to continue into the weekend after a double up rollover for the UK National Lottery. The draw that took place on Saturday 16th October saw the first National Lottery rollover, then after no one managed to match the winning numbers in the draw on Wednesday night, we see the jackpot roll over for second time, to create a massive £13.4 million jackpot for the draw taking place this Saturday.

While some lottery games will allow their jackpots to continue to roll over unlimited times until a winner is found. The UK National Lottery has a limit of three consecutive roll overs. Once this has been reached the following draw is guaranteed to see the jackpot paid out. If no one manages to match the winning numbers on this final draw, then the National Lottery jackpot will be shared between those players who matched the most numbers.

It is not very often that we see a triple roll over on the National Lottery, but this year in particular has been very good for double rollovers. Many lottery players in the UK will find this a tempting jackpot to buy lottery tickets for this weekend, with many of the other games offering large jackpots such as the SuperEnalotto being more difficult to win.

So after the luck clearly being with UK lottery players after the record breaking EuroMillions win, many will fancy their chances for this National Lottery rollover jackpot at the weekend.
