Double win on Kansas Lottery

Thursday August 13th 2009

They say that lightening doesn’t strike twice but that’s not the case for one man who has had a double win on the Kansas Lottery. Edward Williams first struck gold when he bought one of the states scratchcards back in September 2008 at a cost of $10 and then on Wednesday of last week Lady Luck visited again granting him a about $900,000 on the Super Kansas Cash draw!

His win on the scratchcards won him a staggering $75,000 and although he continued to buy lottery tickets he didn’t think for one minute that he would ever win again. Imagine his surprise then at matching all the numbers in the Wednesday draw to win another life changing amount of money by playing the lottery!

Edward, 47 years old and from Witchita has been a regular player of many of the lotteries; he has been playing consistently for 17 years and likes to grab tickets for the Powerball and buys a quick pick for the Super Kansas Cash each draw. His advice for other players is simple “Just keep on playing”.

Keith Williams isn’t the only double winner in the history of lottery games; back in 2006 another lucky lottery player managed to scoop, not one, not two, but THREE lottery wins not long after his wife had passed away. Keith Selix attributed his lottery wins to being “led from above” by his late wife who, whilst alive, was always chastising him for wasting his money on lottery tickets.

As with any win, on any lottery, in any country, you have to be in it to win and quoted from the UK National Lottery, when you buy lottery tickets, who knows “it could be you!”
