Florida Lottery jackpot rises

Saturday June 12th 2010

It is always exciting when one of the smaller state lottery games roll over as this means that regular lottery players have the chance to win a considerably larger jackpot that is easier to win than those of the multi state lottery games offered in the US. The Florida Lottery jackpot rises to $16 million for the draw this evening as no player managed to match the winning number on the last draw which took place on Wednesday 9th June. However, a total of 36 ticket holders did manage to match five numbers.

The numbers drawn on Wednesday were 17, 25, 29, 40, 47, 49 and X 5, so check to see if you were one of the lucky 36 players who matched five numbers.

Apart from the amazing jackpot on offer this evening, the Florida Lottery has an extensive range of lottery games to play. The Second Chance promotion from the Florida Lottery gives players the opportunity to enter selected non winning scratch off tickets and online vouchers into active promotions, where they have the chance of winning some fantastic prizes. The current offer is for the Price is Right scratch off tickets and there are some amazing prizes up for grabs if you submit your losing Price is Right scratch offs.

If you decide to try your luck for the $16 million Florida Lottery jackpot tonight, then why not have a try on a Price is Right scratch off lotto ticket at the same time. If you are not lucky enough to win from the scratch off itself, then you have the Second Chance promotion to take part in.
