MegaMillions Reaches New High

Friday September 23rd 2011

The MegaMillions reaches a new high for the draw taking place this evening and currently has the largest jackpot prize on offer in the world of lottery. After rolling over yet again following Tuesday's draw, players of this US multi state lottery game now have a massive $86 million to play for this evening - which is great news not just for players in the US, but for those all over the globe as this is the kind of high that will grab the attention of players far and wide.

Although there was no jackpot winner following the draw on Tuesday there were six players who managed to match the first five numbers draw to scoop a $250,000 MegaMillions prize. Two of these were from California with the other two from New York, whilst one single player was based in Illinois and another from North Carolina. So although there was not a jackpot winner, there was still a huge amount of prize money paid out on the MegaMillions this week.

It has been over a month now since there was a jackpot winner on the MegaMillions and this was back on 19th August when a player from Massachusetts scooped a $32 million jackpot. So with the time that has passed, it is not difficult to see how the MegaMillions has risen to such a great high to carry some of the world’s highest jackpot prizes.

Some more good news for US lottery players includes the PowerBall, with the jackpot on the climb again - and if there is a winner on the MegaMillions this evening, you at least have a sizeable jackpot to play for on the PowerBall on Saturday evening too.
