We don’t often hear news of the smaller state lottery winners but when we do there is often just as much excitement as there is with a larger lottery win. Today we hear that the Missouri Lottery winners claim their prize from the draw that took place on 6th October. The Missouri Lottery has announced that the $4.9 million jackpot prize was scooped by a couple from Doolittle in central southern Missouri who have been named as Sharon and Dale Baney. The winning Missouri Lottery ticket was purchased by Sharon who is a regular at Ozark Oil in Truman Street, Doolittle. She regularly buys a $1 PowerBall and a $1 Lotto ticket every Wednesday morning and it wasn’t until Sharon returned to the store and handed her Missouri lottery ticket to the clerk to check that she realised she had a winner.

Sharon who is 51 immediately notified her husband of the lottery win, which they kept to them for a while. However, in all of the excitement she was unaware of people in the store when she learned of the win and news quickly spread.

The Missouri Lottery winners plan to carry on working and apart from paying off their mortgage, a car loan, and sharing some with their grown up children, they have no other plans for their lottery win.

If you would like to buy lotto tickets for this Missouri Lottery game is has a twice weekly draw and jackpots start at $1 million and increase with each draw until there is a winner.
