New Jersey Lottery Updates Pick-6 Schedule
Tuesday April 29th 2025The New Jersey Lottery has announced that its popular Pick-6 game will be getting a third weekly draw from July 12.

You can currently enjoy Pick-6 drawings twice a week in the Garden State - at 10:57 PM ET on Monday and Thursday nights. From July 12, drawings will also take place every Saturday evening.
No other changes will be made to the game, but the extra drawing provides more opportunities to play and win. More tickets are likely to be sold each week, so more big jackpots could be offered.
New Jersey Lottery Director James Carey said: “Everything we do is to benefit our players. By having an additional drawing each week, we will see jackpots grow even faster. That means more excitement for everybody!”
About NJ Pick-6
The update to the schedule is the first change to Pick-6 since April 2022, when the Double Play option was introduced. It costs $2 to play Pick 6, but for an extra $1 you can add Double Play to give your numbers a second chance of winning.
To play Pick-6, you are required to select six numbers from 1 to 46. A multiplier feature, XTRA, is automatically included. Each set of numbers you play will be assigned a random multiplier between 1X (no multiplier) and 10X, and if you win a non-jackpot prize your payout will be adjusted accordingly.
You need to match at least three numbers out of six to win a prize. The jackpot goes to anyone who gets all six numbers. It starts at $2 million and grows until it is won.
The number of consecutive drawings you can play will reduce with each passing draw until July 12, when it will reset to a maximum of 26. In the meantime, go to the Pick-6 Results page to keep up to date with the latest winning numbers.
