Powerball fever is running high across America as, for the seventh time this year, the Powerball jackpot has surpassed the $100 million mark. Tonight’s jackpot is worth $108 million and is a result of five successive draws with no ticket holders being able to match the winning top prize numbers.

The Powerball numbers drawn on Saturday were 11, 12, 17, 39 and 40 with the Powerball 5. Five tickets, purchased in Iowa, Rhode Island, Indiana, Pennsylvania and California, matched the five main numbers to each win the second tier prize. As one of the five winners purchased their ticket in California, they won $724,021 due to prizes in the state being paid on a pari-mutuel basis. The other four winning tickets holders in Saturday’s draw each won $1 million.

One of the $1 million winners has come forward to claim their win and has been named by officials as Debbie Schilling. The 52 year old purchased her winning $1 million Powerball ticket from Casey’s General Store in Sheldon, Iowa and contacted the Iowa Lottery on Monday October 7 to receive her prize which she plans to share with her husband, children and grandchildren.

For your chance to follow in Debbie’s footsteps and become a Powerball winner, make sure you have your ticket(s) ready for tonight’s draw. Powerball tickets can be purchased online via the Buy Tickets page or in person from an authorized retailer.

Lottery.net wishes players the best of luck for tonight’s draw!
