Tuesday November 29th 2011

Many rumors circulated around the Powerball winners however the holders of this ticket have now come forward to claim their massive winnings. The holders of this winning Powerball ticket are three bankers from Greenwich, Connecticut which is already one of the more wealthier towns in America. The winners are Greg Skidmore, Brandon Lacoff and Tim Davidson who are all asset managers. The jackpot win of $254 million took place on November 2nd which means these three bankers weren’t exactly in a rush to claim their winnings.

The Powerball results from this particular draw were 12, 14, 34, 39, 46 and the Powerball was number 36. This jackpot win was the biggest ever in Connecticut and was in fact the 12th largest win in the history of the Powerball. The biggest ever win before this one in Connecticut happened in June 2005 and was $59.5 million.

The winners who all work in the investment company Belpointe LLC have chosen the cash option which comes out at $104 million. This winning ticket was bought by Tim Davidson in Shippan Point BP gas station in Stamford which will receive $100,000 for selling the winning ticket. Mr. Davidson chose the $1 Quick Pick option and as luck would have it only bought the one ticket.

They have all said that a large amount of the money won will be given to charities in Connecticut. It is great to be finally able to put a face to the winners of this Connecticut lottery jackpot because for the past few weeks many have said that the holders of this desired ticket had actually lost it but that is now not the case.
