Texas Resident Wins $7.5 Million on Scratchcard

A Texas resident is celebrating after snapping up $7.5 million on the Millionaires’ Club scratchcard. Trevathan Adams of Lufkin in eastern Texas beat odds of 1 in 1,200,000 to pick up his newfound fortune, one of three top prizes offered in the game. The HEB where he purchased the winning game will be eligible to receive a retailer bonus of $10,000.

In addition to the $7.5 million top prize, the Millionaires’ Club instant win game offers nine other prize tiers ranging from $50 to $10,000. There are 31 chances to win on each ticket, the odds of winning any prize are approximately 1 in 2.51 and the game offers over $137 million in prizes to lucky players.

The Texas Lottery offers scratchcards to suit all tastes and budgets and runs several popular draw games, including Lotto Texas, All or Nothing and Texas Two Step. As of the time of writing, the Lotto Texas jackpot had reached $7.25 million.
