Bank a Million is a Virginia exclusive game that allows players to win up to $1 million every Wednesday and Saturday, with the Virginia Lottery footing the tax bill on the jackpot for you! And that's not all - the Bonus Ball ensures extra chances to take home a prize. Drawings take place at 11:00 PM ET and ticket sales close at 10:45 PM on draw nights.
How to Play
Bank a Million features Play Your Way, allowing you to choose your wager and prize options. Ticket holders pay $2 per play and can use the full amount on one line of numbers, place two $1 bets for two lines, or four $0.50 wagers for four lines. The total wager must add up to at least $2 per ticket. Split bets are not allowed - for example, you can’t bet $1 on one line of numbers and also 50¢ on two other lines.
Simply choose six numbers from 1 to 40, or for a faster play, let Easy Pick randomly choose some or all of your numbers.
Other options include a convenient Multi-Draw ticket so you can enter up to 26 draws in a row, or to enter just one draw on a specific date, mark the Future draw. If you want to play your lucky numbers again, ask for a Repeat to get the same numbers on your next ticket.
Match all six numbers drawn to win $1 million for a $2 bet, $500,000 for each $1 wager, and $250,000 for each $0.50 play (amounts are after taxes).
A seventh number, the Bonus Ball, is also drawn from the remaining 34 numbers. You don't need to pick the number - it's automatically chosen by the Lottery. If one of your six numbers matches the Bonus Ball, it increases your prize if matched with two, three, four or five main balls.
Bank a Million Prizes and Odds of Winning
Win $1 million tax-free by matching all six main numbers drawn. There are multiple ways your wager can add up to $1 million in prizes. For instance, you can win the jackpot outright on a $2 play, while two $1 plays gives you two chances to win $500,000, or four $0.50 bets allows four chances to score $250,000.
