There are a few different options to pick from, which can make Keno seem difficult, but it's actually very easy to play; just follow the steps below:

1. Visit a Virginia Lottery retailer for a Keno playslip.
2. Choose the number of spots you want to play, from 1 to 10. This determines how many numbers you're going to enter into the draw - playing more spots gives you the chance to win bigger prizes!
3. Select your wager from $1 to $10 - again, the more you bet, the more you can win.
4. How many consecutive draws would you like to enter into? Choose 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, or 20.
5. Choose your numbers from 1 to 80. How many numbers is determined by the number of spots you selected - so for 1 spot, choose 1 number, and so on up to a maximum of 10 numbers. Alternatively, mark the Easy Pick (EP) box to have the lottery computer randomly choose your numbers for you.
6. Purchase your ticket - the total cost is your wager amount multiplied by the number of draws you've entered.
7. Keep your ticket in a safe location and don't forget to check your numbers following the draw to see if you've won. Draws are held every four minutes, except during system processing time (roughly between 1:00 AM and 1:30 AM, ET).
