Choose your type of wager - Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Front Pair or Back Pair. More details can be found in the Play Types section.
Choose a four-digit number between 0000 and 9999, or get an Easy Pick if you want numbers generated at random by the lottery terminal or self-service kiosk.
For most play types, you can wager $0.50, $1, $2, $3, $4 or $5. The exception is a Straight/Box, which has to be at least $1.
You can play the Midday draw, the Evening draw, or both. Decide how many consecutive drawings to play, up to a maximum of 16.
Straight - Match all four numbers in the order they are drawn.
Box - Win if you match all four numbers in any order.
Straight/Box - Combines a Straight and a Box. You can win both parts of the bet by matching the numbers in order, or just the Box wager by matching them in another order.
Pairs - Match the first two numbers in the order they are drawn. Match the last two numbers in the order they are drawn.
Ticket sales close 20 minutes before each drawing – that’s noon for Midday drawings and 9:40 PM CT for Evening drawings.
The minimum age to play Pick 4 is 21.
You must claim all Pick 4 prizes within 90 days of the relevant draw date.
