Connecticut Play 3 gives you the opportunity to hit payouts of up to $2,500, seven days and nights per week. There's a choice of play types and wagers start at $0.50. Add the Wild Ball option for even more ways to win.
The Day draw is held every afternoon at 1:57 PM ET, and the Night draw takes place every evening at 10:29 PM ET. There is a draw break twice a day when tickets are not sold: from 1:45 PM to 2:01 PM for Day, and from 10:15 PM to 10:45 PM for Night. To play the next draw, be sure to pick up your tickets before the cutoff.
The prizes available to be won in each draw range from $25 up to $2,500, depending on your wager amount and play style. Check the table below for the prize tiers and payout levels. If you wagered more than $1, multiply the amounts in the table accordingly to find out what you can win.

The table below shows the prizes you can win when you add the Wild Ball option. Wild Ball doubles the cost of a play, so therefore the base game wager is half of the amount shown below. For example, a Play 3 wager of $0.50 with Wild Ball added doubles the total wager to $1.00.

Select three numbers from 0 to 9, or opt for Quick Pick to complete your play faster - the Lottery computer will randomly generate your digits.
Play 3 bets start at $0.50 and increase by $0.50 up to a maximum of $5.00 per play. Note that the amount you may wager varies by play type.
You can play the Day draw, Night draw, or both. If you'd like to play up to seven draws in a row, select Advance Action on your playslip and choose the number of draws to enter.
You have more control over how to play than in most lotteries – choose a play type from the following options: Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Pairs or Combo (more details in the Play Types section).
Decide whether to add the Wild Ball option for even more chances to win. This features effectively gives you an extra opportunity if you just miss out on a payout (more information in the Wild Ball section).
Play 3 features a range of fun play styles that determine how your numbers can make a winning match with the three numbers the CT Lottery draws. Here's how to win with each play type:
Straight - Match the CT Lottery's three numbers in the exact order drawn.
Box - Match the Lottery's three numbers in any order.
Straight/Box - A Straight bet (exact order) and a Box bet (any order) on one ticket - win on one, or both. Straight/Box plays are available in even dollar amounts only.
Combo - All potential combinations of your three numbers on one ticket. To win, match one of the combos to the Lottery's three numbers in the exact order drawn. Combo plays are only available in $0.50 and $1.00 amounts
Pairs - Select two numbers from 0 to 9 and choose to play one of three options: Front Pair (match the first two numbers), Back Pair (match the last two numbers), or Split Pair (match the first and last numbers). To win, match the Lottery's two numbers in the exact order drawn.
The optional Play 3 Wild Ball add-on gives you even more ways to win. Wild Ball doubles the cost of a ticket and you'll need to add it at the time of purchase.
After every Play 3 drawing, a separate Wild Ball number from 0 to 9 is drawn. Use the Wild Ball number to replace one of the Play 3 numbers drawn by the CT Lottery, giving you more chances to create a winning combination. Wild Ball doesn't change the numbers you've chosen - instead, you can substitute the Wild Ball for one of the three main numbers.
Here's an example. If your numbers are 123 and the Lottery draws 127 plus Wild Ball 3, you can use the Wild Ball to replace the Lottery's 7 to create the winning sequence 123!
A 3-Way play is a three-digit combination that has two identical numbers out of three, for example 112. It is so-called because it can be ordered three ways (112, 121 and 211). A 6-Way play has three different digits, for example 345, which can be arranged as 345, 354, 435, 453, 534 and 543.
You have to be at least 18 years old to play any CT Lottery game.
All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw taking place.
