Play 3 is a three-digit game with daily draws and a top prize of $500 on a $1 wager, plus a choice of fun bet types and bet amounts starting at just $0.50. The Day draw takes place seven afternoons a week, at 1:58 PM ET, and the Night draw happens every evening at 7:57 PM ET. Similar lottery games are played in many states across the US (usually with the name 'Pick 3'), but each state lottery operates its own self-contained version.

Decide whether to play the Day draw, the Night draw, or both. Select the number of draws you want to play - up to seven in a row.
Choose three numbers from 0 to 9, and mark one in each column. You can select the same digit multiple times. For a Front Pair play, only mark the first two columns. For Back Pair, mark the last two columns. Alternatively, mark Quick Pick and the lottery computer will randomly assign your numbers.
Play 3 allows you to decide how much to wager - $0.50 or $1. The more you put down, the higher your potential payout.
Mark the bet type you want to play - this determines how your numbers can make a winning match with the numbers drawn; see the Bet Type section for details.
Straight - Match the three winning numbers in the exact order they're drawn.
Box - Match the three winning numbers in any order.
Straight/Box - A $0.50 Straight bet plus a $0.50 Box bet on one ticket (combined wager: $1). Win the $0.50 Box prize for matching in any order, plus the $0.50 Straight prize for matching in drawn order.
Combination - Enter every possible combination of your digits as a separate Straight bet. Costs 3 or 6 times your wager amount.
Pairs - Match the first two winning numbers in the order they're drawn. Match the last two winning numbers in the order they're drawn.
Ticket sales for the Day draw close at 1:40 PM ET. The cut-off time for the Night draw is 7:30 PM ET.
You must be at least 18 years old to play any Delaware Lottery game.
Prizes remain valid for one year from the date of the draw. Once this time is up, the prize will expire and cannot be recovered.
