Megabucks is the Tri-State game with three draws a week and a jackpot of at least $1 million. It is able to offer such a large top prize as there is a large pool of players across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, and many ticket holders from ME have been lucky enough to become millionaires.
Drawings take place at 7:59 PM ET on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
There are a total of nine prize categories in Megabucks, creating very favorable overall odds of winning. You get a $2 return just by matching two numbers (with or without the Megaball), and the value of prizes increases as you match more numbers.

Tickets for Megabucks cost $2 per play. You must purchase your entries before the cut-off time of 7:50 PM ET.
The minimum Megabucks jackpot is $1 million, and it rolls to the next draw if it is not won. The current jackpot is $1.43 Million.
Yes. If multiple players match all the numbers, the jackpot is divided equally between them.
The Maine Lottery does have a duty to release winner information, but you can claim through a legal trust to stay anonymous.
