Maryland Cash Pop
Cash Pop is a quick-fire game that is easy to play and offers great prizes. It is set to launch in Maryland later in 2024, and you can find out more about how it works right here. There will be four drawings a day. The timings have yet to be confirmed, but this is when drawings could take place:
- Morning
- Matinee
- Afternoon
- Evening
How to Play
Cash Pop is a simple one-number game. To play, all you need to do is select one number (or Pop) between 1 and 15. You can choose your own or get a random selection via a Quick Pick. If you want to increase your chances of winning, you can select more than one number. In fact, it is even possible to pick all the numbers to get a guaranteed win.
The next step is to decide on your wager amount. The options are $1, $2, $5 or $10 per Pop. When you submit your entry, the lottery terminal generates a prize value that can be seen on your ticket alongside each of your selected numbers. This is the amount you will win if that number is drawn.
The prize value is assigned at random, although it will always be between 5x and 250x your wager amount. The more you pay, therefore, the more it is possible to win. If you wager $10, you could receive a payout of $2,500.
You can enter just the next draw, or play multiple consecutive drawings to make sure that you don’t miss out. Get your tickets before the cut-off time, then just wait for the draw to take place to finjd out if you are a winner.
Cash Pop Prizes and Odds of Winning
The odds and payouts for MD Cash Pop have not yet been confirmed, but it is expected to have a similar prize structure to other participating states.
Your chances of winning are always 1 in 15 for each number you play. However, the odds are different for each prize value being generated on your ticket. There are nine possible prizes to win for each wager amount.
