Pick 3 is a daily draw game with two drawings a day. Midday draws take place at around 12:45 PM CT and the Evening draw takes place at around 8:59 PM CT. You can also view results and upcoming draws with the Missouri Lottery app.

The Wild Ball itself is another number from 0 to 9 that is selected in every draw, after the three main winning digits. If you add the Wild Ball option to your play, you can use this extra number to replace any of the winning numbers. For example, if the main numbers drawn are 123 and the Wild Ball is 5, it can be swapped in to create three new combinations – 523, 153 and 125 – all of which would reward players with prizes. Wild Ball doubles the cost of a play.

There are a few different play types to choose from. Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Combo or Pairs.
Select three numbers between 0 and 9, or ask for Quick Pick at your local lottery teller. Or, use our MO Pick 3 number generator for a random selection.
You can bet either $0.50 or $1 on Pick 3, but higher wagers generally lead to bigger payouts.
The Wild Ball option increases your chances of winning by creating new combinations (for an extra 50¢ or $1), and for an extra $1 you can add three extra EZ Match numbers to your ticket. Match any of the three EZ Match numbers to your main Pick 3 numbers and you instantly win the prize amount allocated to that number.
You can take part in as many as 14 consecutive Pick 3 draws in Missouri – all on the same ticket. Inform the teller or mark Multi-Play on your play slip.
Straight - Win by matching the numbers in the order they’re drawn. For instance, if you selected 123 as your lucky Pick 3 numbers, you win if 123 is drawn. Odds are only 1 in 1,000 – not bad!
Box - Win by matching the numbers in any order. This means you could match 213, 132, 231, or any other ‘Box’ combination. There are two different types - in 3-Way you match two identical numbers and one different number. With winning drawn numbers 123, there would be no way to win since it doesn’t have a repeated number. You would need to select and match a combination such as 122 (122, 212 and 221). In 6-Way you match the three winning numbers in any order. There are six ways – hence the name – and they are 123, 132, 213, 231, 312, and 321.
Straight/Box - This play type combines a Straight and a Box on one ticket. Win a Straight prize by matching the winning numbers exactly (123), and win a Box prize by matching the numbers in any order (132, 213, 231, 312, 321).
Combination - Combo is basically buying all possible Straight combinations of your chosen numbers. This guarantees a Straight win if those numbers are drawn in any order.
Pairs - You can also play for Front Pair or Back Pair. Match the first two digits in exact order to win Front Pair, or match the last two digits to win Back Pair.
You can purchase tickets right up until the draw times – 12:45 PM CT for the Midday draw and 8:59 PM CT for the Evening draw.
The minimum age to play MO Pick 3 is 18.
All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw taking place.
