The Wild Ball is an extra digit (0-9) drawn after the main Pick 4 numbers. If you play the Wild Ball option, it can replace any of the four numbers drawn to create winning combinations. Wild Ball doubles the cost of your base play.

This is where it gets fun in Pick 4. With lots of different play types to choose from – Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Pairs, Threes or Combo – you can play Pick 4 your way.
Select your four lucky numbers between 0 and 9. Can’t decide what numbers to choose? Ask for Quick Pick at your local lottery retailer. Alternatively, make use of our MO Pick 4 number generator.
Bet either $0.50 or $1 on each of your Pick 4 lines. Remember that a higher wager typically creates a bigger payout.
Add the Wild Ball option to boost your chances of winning. See the Wild Ball section to learn more about a feature that also doubles the cost of playing. Add random EZ Match numbers to your Pick 4 ticket for an extra $1. If any of your chosen Pick 4 numbers match any of the EZ Match numbers that are shown on your ticket, you can win a prize associated with the number in question.
Enter up to 14 consecutive Pick 4 draws in Missouri all on the same ticket. Either inform the retailer you want to do this, or check Multi-Play on your play slip. Check the relevant box if playing online.
Straight - Match the drawn numbers in the order they come up. If you select 1234 as your Pick 4 numbers, you will win if 1234 is drawn.
Box - Match the drawn numbers in any order for a lower payout. If you chose 1234, you could match 2134, 4132, 2431, or any other ‘Box’ combination.
Straight/Box - This play type combines a Straight and a Box on one ticket. Win a Straight prize by matching the winning numbers exactly (1122), and win a Box prize by matching the numbers in any order (1212, 1221, 2112, 2121, 2211).
Combination - A Combo play is basically buying all possible Straight combinations of your chosen numbers. It guarantees a Straight win if your numbers are drawn in any order. The cost of the ticket depends on how many unique ways your digits can be arranged — from 4 combinations (for a 4-Way number like 1112) up to 24 combinations (for a 24-Way number like 1234).
Pairs - You can play Front Pair, Middle Pair, or Back Pair in Missouri Pick 4. Match the first two digits in exact order to win a Front Pair prize, match the middle two digits in exact order to win a Middle Pair prize, or match the last two digits in exact order to win a Back Pair prize.
You can purchase tickets right up until draws take place, at 12:45 PM CT for the Midday drawing and 8:59 PM CT for the Evening draw.
The minimum age to play any Missouri Lottery game is 18.
Any Missouri Lottery prize you win must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date.
