Megabucks drawings take place three times a week. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 7:59 ET. Ticket sales close ten minutes before this, so make sure you get them in advance of 7:50 PM ET. Tickets cost $2 per draw.
With nine prize categories, you get favorable odds of winning in Megabucks. Match as few as two numbers, with or without matching the Megaball, for a $2 return. You get higher prizes for matching more.
To win the jackpot, you must match all six numbers. If it’s not won, then it just keeps getting bigger until it is.
