In Pick 4 you can wager as little as $0.50 or as much as $5. It’s up to you to decide how to play, but higher wagers typically lead to higher prizes. The minimum wager for Pick 4 is $0.50 and goes up in $0.50 increments up to $5, with the top potential prize being $25,000 on a Straight bet.
Pick 4 is similar to the three-number equivalent of the game, with draws also taking place at 1:10 PM EST and 6:59 PM EST each day.
Straight Match the numbers exactly as they’re drawn, for example 1234.
Box Match the numbers in any order, for example 1234, 4213, 1432, 3421 or any other order.
Straight/Box A combination play allows you to match winning numbers in either the exact order or any order. For example, you win both parts of the wager if you match all the numbers exactly (1234), but just the Box prize if you match them in another order (4321).
Front Pair Match the first two numbers, for example 12XX.
Middle Pair Match the middle numbers, for example X23X.
Back Pair Match the back two numbers, for example XX34.
Any/Single Digit Match a single digit in the correct position. Choose whether to wager on the first digit (1XXX), second digit (X2XX), third digit (XX3X), or fourth digit (XXX4).
This refers to your combination of numbers. A 4-Way has three identical numbers out of four (such as 1112), a 6-Way has two sets of pairs (3344), while a 12-Way has two identical numbers and two unique numbers (5567). A 24-Way play has four different numbers (8901).
