Pick 10 is a daily game which gives you the opportunity to win up to $500,000. There are various ways to win prizes, and you even get a payout for matching no numbers at all. Find out everything you need to know about NY Pick 10.

How to Play Pick 10

As the name of the game suggests, you have to pick 10 numbers, from a range of 1 to 80. You can choose them yourself or opt for a randomly-generated Quick Pick selection.

The draw time is 8:30 PM ET every day, with ticket sales closing at 8:00 PM. It costs just $1 per play.

The Multi-Draw area of your playslip allows you to enter the same set of numbers into as many as seven consecutive drawings. Another option is to ‘Play It Again’, if you have an old ticket from within the last 30 days and would like to reuse the same selections.

When the draw takes place, 20 numbers – not 10 – are selected at random from the field of 1 to 80.

Odds and Prizes

The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 17, and there are six fixed prize tiers available, based on how many numbers you match. Payouts start at $4 for not matching any numbers, with bigger prizes for matching six, seven, eight, nine and 10 numbers.

You will always receive the $500,000 jackpot for matching 10 numbers, even if there is more than one top prize winner. However, if there are over 10 jackpot-winning tickets in one draw, a $5 million prize pot is divided equally amongst all winners. The jackpot doesn’t roll over to the next game if it isn’t won in the current draw.
