The Florida Lottery Adds New Limited-Time $500 Raffle
Thursday September 21st 2023The Florida Lottery has announced the launch of a limited-time raffle promotion, giving players a chance to win $500 cash. The promotion will run from September 18 until October 29 (or until all raffle tickets sell out) and it will have a weekly draw.
So how can you enter this special Florida Lottery $500 raffle? If you purchase a single $10 or more Powerball, Mega Millions, Cash Pop or Florida Lotto ticket, you will receive a free raffle ticket. The ticket will be entered into the next available weekly drawing. In total, there would be six weekly drawings which will take place every Monday. Every drawing will have 100 winners.
The promotion will have a total of 600 raffle winners and the total cash prizes are worth $300,000. Behind the raffle there’s also a good cause—Florida Lottery is expecting to generate $40 million for education in just six weeks.
If you’re lucky enough to win a raffle, you can redeem your prize at any Florida Lottery retailer or by visiting a lottery district office. You must claim your prize within 180 days from the date of the drawing.
The Florida Lottery also made another announcement for scratch-off games enthusiasts. They introduced four new scratch-off games which offer players amazing prizes worth millions of dollars: Triple Match, Hit and Win, Aces and 8s, and Fast Bucks.
The new raffle is another reason to grab your tickets for the next Powerball, Mega Millions, Cash Pop or Florida Lotto drawings. With a $725 million Powerball jackpot and $205 million Mega Millions grand prize, the next draws are not to be missed!
