The drawing takes place every night at 11:22 PM ET, seven days a week. Ticket sales pause at 10:59 PM, so be sure to complete your purchase beforehand to play that night's draw.
How to Play
Each play costs $1.00 per line. Simply choose five numbers from 1 to 43 - or have the numbers randomly generated using a Quick Pick. You can play up to five times on each play slip.
Use the Multidraw option to enter up to 28 draws in a row.
If you love your numbers, Repeat Play is the simplest way to enter them again. The retailer can scan your existing ticket within 30 days of purchase and print a new one with all the same selections from the original - no need to fill out a play slip. If you selected Multidraw, Repeat Play will start on the first available draw and include the same number of draws originally selected.
Double Play is an optional add-on to your Cash 5 play that costs $1 more for the chance to win up to $50,000 in a second drawing using your Cash 5 numbers. You can also score bigger prizes than the main game for matching 2, 3, or 4 numbers.
Unlock the EZ Match instant win feature for an extra $1 and you could experience the thrill of winning up to $500 before the Cash 5 drawing takes place. An additional set of five numbers will be generated on your ticket and if any of them match any of your selected Cash 5 numbers, you'll win the prize amount shown on the ticket right there and then. Simply redeem the prize and have the retailer print you an exchange ticket for the next Cash 5 drawing.
Carolina Cash 5 drawings take place nightly at 11:22 PM, and if you match all five numbers in any order, you'll snap up the top prize.
