About MegabucksWin for Life is the Oregon draw game with a top prize of $1,000 per week for life. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening, and to take part you just have to select four two-digit numbers between 1 and 77.
About Win For LifePick 4 has four drawings a day and puts you in charge of how you want to play. You can try to match the winning numbers in exact order or any order, and even decide how much you want to wager. The top prize is $5,000 on a $1 wager.
About Pick 4Cash Pop is a one-number lottery where you can choose your own wager amount and win up to $2,500 – this format is used in a number of other states, so you might be familiar with it already. Drawings take place every hour between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM (PST).

The Oregon Lottery pays out thousands of prizes every week. Here are some of the highest jackpots to have been seen in the Beaver State.
The largest Powerball jackpot ever won in Oregon went to a single winning ticket purchased in Portland. The grand prize was worth an impressive $1.32 billion and, at the time, it was the fourth-largest jackpot in Powerball history. The prize was claimed by Cheng 'Charlie' Saephan, his wife Duanpen, and their friend Laiza Chao, with the money divided 25 – 25 – 50 between the three winners.
Two couples from the same family – Frances and Bob Chaney, and their daughter in son-in-law, Carolyn and Steve West – teamed up to spend $40 on tickets for this draw. The strategy paid off as one of the tickets matched all the numbers to land them a staggering payout. Frances said when they came forward that they were still in disbelief but were grateful to the Lord for the blessing bestowed on them.
The biggest Oregon-exclusive jackpot ever won was back in 2004, when 65-year-old Arthur Brenner of Portland won a Megabucks jackpot of $30,000,000. Not quite a multi-state jackpot, but it’s not a figure to turn your nose up at! You may be wondering why the record Megabucks jackpot was won over 20 years ago now. Quite simply, the jackpot hasn’t rolled high enough to beat the old record because of all the other jackpot winners they’ve had since!

However, if you’ve found an older winning ticket, you should be aware that draw game prizes can only be redeemed within a year from the draw date, while Scratch-It wins can only be claimed within a year from the game's end date.
There's a 24 percent federal withholding tax on all prizes worth $5,000 or more, and Oregon also levies a state tax of 8 percent.
As of 2025, Oregon Lottery winners can opt to remain anonymous, with only details such as their city, the prize value, and the store the ticket was purchased at being disclosed.
If you've won $600 or less, you can redeem your winnings at any authorized Oregon Lottery retailer or by mail.
If you're lucky enough to win $601 or more, you can claim your winnings at the Oregon Lottery office in Salem. Prizes up to $50,000 can be claimed in one day. If you win more than that, you'll have to wait until the next business day.
Prizes up to $50,000 may be claimed by mail – which we’ll explain below. If you’re not currently in Oregon, and won’t be returning soon, this is the only way to redeem your prize.
Sign the back of your winning ticket and fill out a claim form, and send both documents to the address below. It’s a good idea to make a copy of your ticket, just in case there is a problem with the mail.
