Keno is a popular fast-paced draw game, and the Oregon Lottery runs their own version! Oregon Keno has draws every four minutes with 56 ways to win and a $30,000 average jackpot! Bulls-Eye, Multiplier, and three prize structures to choose from add to the thrills of this fast-paced game.
A Keno wager costs $1, and you can bet up to $20 per game. The rolling eight-spot jackpot averages $30,000.
Drawings are held every four minutes from 5:00 AM to 4:00 AM PT seven days a week, and the more you match, the more you win.
Keno is played with spots (numbers) from 1 through 80. In each drawing, 20 out of 80 numbers are randomly chosen. The more you match, the more you win. Whether you win and how much depends on how many spots you match.
There are a couple of steps to playing Keno, here’s a complete breakdown so you’ll be in no doubt about what you have to do:
Choose from Three Prize Structures
The table below shows how frequently the Keno Multiplier numbers are drawn on average:
| Multiplier | Average Percentage Drawn | Overall Average Odds* |
|---|---|---|
| 1x | 45% | 1 in 2.22 |
| 2x | 28.3% | 1 in 3.53 |
| 3x | 16% | 1 in 6.25 |
| 5x | 9.7% | 1 in 10.31 |
| 10x | 1% | 1 in 100 |
The third option, Keno Bulls-Eye, offers the chance to additional prizes. Once the 20 winning Keno numbers are drawn, one of them will be designated the Bulls-Eye at random. If you win a Keno or Special Keno prize, AND also match the Bulls-Eye number, you'll win both the Keno prize and the Bulls-Eye prize! You can add Bulls-Eye to a regular Keno or Special Keno play, and the ticket cost increases $1 for every $1 Keno wager.
This feature is applied to every 8-spot game, so you don’t need to manually add it on your playslip. It’s simple – players who match all 8 numbers win a special jackpot, which keeps rolling over and growing with every draw until it's won. The Jackpot Bonus is pari-mutuel if there are multiple Jackpot Bonus winners in a game.
Keno offers 56 ways to win cash, but the premise is simple. The more spots you match, the more you win! The tables below show the prize payouts and odds for Keno, Special Keno, and Bulls-Eye according to how many numbers you match in a 1-10 spot game. You can even win a prize by not matching any spots in the 10 spot game! The Keno prizes listed are based on a $1 play. Bulls-Eye prizes listed are based on a $2 play.

Oregon Keno games are held every four minutes, every day, for 23 hours per day (there is a pause in the game in between 4 AM and 5 AM.).
Obviously it’s up to the player, but wagering smaller amounts will allow you to fit more games into your budget. If you prefer fewer games, but with higher stakes, you should wager more. Just make sure you stick to your budget, as Keno can be a very ‘more-ish’ game.
Keno is fun even without any add-ons, but Oregon Keno has a few optional extras to choose from.
Pick the Bulls-Eye option for an additional prize if one of your winning numbers matches the randomly-designated Bulls-Eye number. Using this add-on doubles your wager.
Special Keno removes some of the bottom-tier prizes, and increases the value of the top-tier prizes! Choose Special Keno if you want to go all-in.
Use the Multiplier option to boost any prizes you win. Your game is randomly assigned a multiplier from 1X (boo!) to 10X, and your prize for that game will be multiplied by that value. Using this add-on doubles your wager.
If you don’t want your game of Keno to start right away, use the Keno To Go option on your playslip to specify a time later in the day. Not everyone wants to, or has the time to play the moment they get their ticket!
