Megabucks is the Wisconsin Lottery’s biggest state-exclusive jackpot game, with a top prize that has been known to rise into the tens of millions of dollars. You can also add the EZ Match option to give you even more ways to win. Draws take place on Wednesday and Saturday evenings after 9:00 PM CT.
To win the Megabucks jackpot, all six of the numbers you pick must match the six numbers that are drawn by the Wisconsin Lottery. The top prize starts at $1 million and increases with each draw until it is won.
You can also win smaller, fixed amounts, by matching three, four or five numbers out of six. The table below shows all the available payouts, along with the odds of winning.

If you add EZ Match to Megabucks, five random numbers will be printed on the bottom half of your ticket. Each of these EZ Match numbers will be accompanied by a prize value, which could range from $1 to $250. If any of these numbers are the same as the numbers you have picked (not the numbers drawn), you instantly win the prize amount that is shown. Choose six numbers from a range of 1 to 49. Alternatively, mark the Quick Pick option to get a random set. The minimum play in Megabucks is two panels, so you need to select two sets of numbers.
Decide how many consecutive drawings to play. You can enter your numbers into as many as eight consecutive drawings (four weeks).

Pay for your entries before the cut-off time of 9:00 PM CT on draw days. At $1 per play and a minimum of two plays per ticket, you'll need to spend at least $2 when you come to pay. The optional EZ Match add-on costs an additional $1 per play, if applied.
Wisconsin's Megabucks was first introduced at 'Wisconsin's Very Own Megabucks' back on August 10, 1989, which was replaced by Powerball 3 years later. The second time was in Junne of the same year, where it has remained as we know it today.

If there are multiple players who match all the numbers, the jackpot is divided equally between them.
All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date. If you win the jackpot, you must specify within 60 days of the drawing whether you want to take the annuity option (the advertised amount, paid out over 25 years), or a lump sum. If you don’t make this choice within 60 days, the prize will be paid as an annuity.
