Pick 4 is a twice-daily Wisconsin game which puts you in control over how to play - there are various play types available and you can even choose how much to wager. Win up to $5,000 just by matching four numbers between 0 and 9.

How to Play Pick 4

Select Your Numbers

Choose four numbers between 0 and 9 – one from each row on your playslip – or select Quick Pick to get a random selection.

Pick Your Draws

Play the Midday draw, the Evening draw, or both. Select how many days to play, up to a maximum of seven. If you play both draw times, this allows you to enter 14 consecutive drawings.

Select Your Play Type

Decide whether to play a Straight or a Box. More details can be found in the Play Types section, but this decision helps to determine your odds and the prize you can win.

Choose Wager Amount

Wager $0.50 or $1 per play. The amount you can win is proportional to how much you spend.

Pick 4 Play Types

Here’s more information about the play types you can choose from in Wisconsin Pick 4.

Straight To win, the four numbers you pick must match the numbers that are drawn in exact order.

Box For a Box play, the numbers can match in any order. Box play has four options:

The numbers you pick determine how many ways you could win. For Any Order and 50/50 plays, playing more "Ways" offers better winning odds, while playing fewer Ways means bigger prizes. For Combo tickets, the prize stays the same no matter how many Ways you play. Playing more Ways grants better odds, but the ticket cost also increases.

  • 4-Way: Three identical digits out of four (for example 1112)
  • 6-Way: Two sets of pairs (for example 8899)
  • 12-Way: One pair of the same digits (for example 5567)
  • 24-Way: Four different numbers (for example 0123)

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I play a Straight/Box in Pick 4?

Whereas you can combine Straight and Box wagers in Pick 3, you cannot play a Straight/Box on one wager in Pick 4. You would have to submit two separate plays.

What is the minimum age to play?

You must be at least 18 years old to play any Wisconsin Lottery game.

How long do I have to claim a prize if I win?

All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date.
