Frequently Asked Questions

How old do I have to be to play?

You have to be 21 to play Pick 3, or any other lottery game, in Arizona.

How many draws can I play in advance?

You can play up to 12 consecutive draw dates (24 draws if you play both Midday and Evening) – fill in the relevant section of your playslip or tell the cashier how many draws you want to enter.

Is there a prize for matching two numbers out of three?

No. You must match all the numbers you select to win a prize. The only way to win a prize by matching two numbers is to play a Front Pair or Back Pair.

Can I just get one play for $0.50?

No. The cost is a fixed $1, but you can decide whether to enter just one set of numbers (for the chance to win up to $500), or two for $0.50 each to give yourself an extra chance of winning.

What happens if my ticket is lost, damaged or stolen?

A lottery ticket is like cash – if it gets lost, you won’t be able to claim a prize on it. A damaged ticket might still be readable, but the Arizona Lottery would have no obligation to pay out. Make sure to keep tickets safe and sign the back of them to show they belong to you.
