How to Win on DC 5

DC 5 has a variety of bet types, so there’s not one set way to win. If you play a Straight, you must match all five numbers in the exact order they are drawn. Box plays are easier to win, since you can match the numbers in any order.

If matching five numbers sounds too hard, you can also play Front 4, Back 4, Front 3, Back 3, Front Pair, or Back Pair wagers. These bet types require you to match the winning digits in the correct order, but only the ones that you are wagering on (to win a Front 4, for example, you must match the first four digits in the right positions).

If the checker highlights a win, make sure to bring your ticket forward to a DC Lottery retailer or mail it in within 180 days of the draw date.
