You can enter the Midday draw, Evening draw, or both if you want to maximize your odds of winning.
You can enter draws for as many as seven consecutive draws in a row. And if you want to play your favorite numbers again, you can hand the retailer an existing ticket and ask for the ‘Play It Again’ option to buy a new ticket with the same numbers.

Choose four numbers from 0-9. Can’t decide? Mark Quick Pick and the lottery computer will generate your numbers randomly when you hand in your playslip to your local lottery retailer. You can use numbers multiple times, meaning you can have 7-7-7-7 as your selection if you want to.
Hand your playslip in to your local lottery retailer in Kentucky, then keep the ticket safe. Minimum bets start at $0.50, $1 – or more depending on your wager amount and play type.
Here is a rundown of the different Pick 4 wager types. Pick 4 gets a little more complicated than other Kentucky Lottery games because of its different playtypes, but we keep the information all here to help you play.
Straight - Match the numbers drawn in EXACT order. Minimum wager is $0.50.
Box - Match the numbers drawn in ANY order. Minimum wager: $0.50.
Straight/Box - This is a Straight and Box wager combined. You must match the numbers drawn in EXACT OR ANY order. Match in exact order and win both the Straight and Box prizes. Match in any order and win the Box prize. Minimum wager: $1.00 (combines a $0.50 Straight and a $0.50 Box wager).
Apart from Straight plays, you should always consider whether you are playing a 4-Way, 6-Way, 12-Way or 24-Way combination. A 4-Way has three like numbers and one that is different (for example 1112, which can be arranged ‘four ways’ – 1112, 1121, 1211 and 2111). A 6-Way has two sets of pairs (such as 3344), a 12-Way has two identical numbers and two unique numbers (e.g. 5567), while a 24-Way has four different numbers (such as 1234).
You must be at least 18 years old to play any KY Lottery game.
All Pick 4 prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the relevant draw date.
