Pick 4 is an OH Lottery four-digit game that offers two chances every day to take home up to $5,000 on a $1 wager. Ticket prices start at just $0.50. The draws take place at 12:29 PM (Midday) and 7:29 PM EST (Evening) Sunday to Friday. Pools close at 12:25 PM and 7:25 PM so be sure to get your tickets before then to enter the next draw. On Saturdays, there is a 12:29 PM afternoon draw and the evening draw is held during the Cash Explosion Game Show, which is broadcast on TV statewide from 7:30-8:00 PM. Saturday night pools close at 7:45 PM.
The most you can win on a $1 wager is $5,000. However, the top prize in Ohio is actually $6,198 - which you can achieve by winning a 4-Way Back-Up bet on a $2 wager. Back-Up - A combination of a Straight bet and a Boxed bet on one ticket - the Straight play is "backed up" by the Boxed play. A Straight win is paid both the Straight and Boxed prizes. A Boxed win is paid just the Boxed prize. The minimum bet is $1.
Pick 4 draws occur twice daily at 12:29 PM (Midday) and 7:29 PM (Evening). The only exception is Saturday when the Evening drawing is held a few minutes later during the Cash Explosion game.
