Decide how you’re going to play your numbers – Exact, Any, Exact/Any or Combo. See the Play Types section for more details.
You can wager $0.50 or $1 per play for most play types, although Exact/Any is a fixed $1. The more you put down, the more you can win.
Use the multi-draw option to specify how many consecutive drawings you want to play - 2, 4, 6, 12, 18, or 24.
Exact - You must match all three numbers in the correct positions to win.
Any - To win, match all three numbers in any order. Any Order plays are either 3-Way, where two of the digits are duplicates (e.g. 112) or 6-Way, where all three digits are unique.
Exact/Any - Your $1 wager is split between both play types. You win both parts of the bet if you match all the numbers in drawn-order, or just the ‘Any’ prize if they're out of order.
Combo - This type of play enters every possible ‘Exact’ combination for your selected numbers, so you can win the top prize for matching in any order. You have to pay for each combination though, so this play type is more expensive.
You have to be at least 18 to play Daily 3, or any other lottery game, in West Virginia.
No. You must match all three numbers to win a prize - and then it also depends on whether you are trying to match them in order or not. Many states' versions of Daily 3 (more commonly named ' Pick 3') have a 'Pair Play' option where players can win prizes for matching just two numbers, but this isn't available in West Virginia.
Daily 3 prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the relevant draw date.
