The New Jersey Lottery is running a promotion through to October 3 which will see one lucky Pick 6 player emerge as a millionaire, with lots of other great prizes guaranteed to be won too!
A series of special Second Chance Drawings will take place over the next few weeks, and all you have to do to take part is enter Pick 6 tickets online from September 8. Five winners will be selected each week - on September 14, September 21, September 28 and October 5. Each winner will receive $10,000 and tickets for them and a guest to attend a New York Jets game at MetLife Stadium on November 1.
All the winners will then be invited onto the field at halftime for the Grand Prize Draw, when someone will be awarded a ‘runner-up prize’ of $100,000 and another will be randomly selected to receive $1 million.
You must purchase your tickets during the promotional period for them to be valid for the corresponding draw. Pick 6 can be played at authorized retailers in the Garden State, or you can order tickets online through courier services such as Jackpot.com.
Pick 6 is a New Jersey Lottery game that has been around since 1980, although it was overhauled significantly in April 2022 and since then a Saturday draw has been added to make it a thrice-weekly event. Draws also take place on Mondays and Thursdays.
To play, you are required to select six numbers from 1 to 46. An XTRA multiplier is automatically included for each $2 play, increasing the value of non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times. You can also add Double Play to your ticket for an extra $1, giving you another chance to win.
The jackpot for the main draw starts at $2 million and grows every time it is not won, while the Double Play jackpot is a fixed $250,000 per draw.
